How much rock will it take?

Use the formula below to calculate your rock needs.

Length X Width X Depth in decimal inches divided by 27 = Cubic Yards
Multiply cubic yards by 1.3 to get tons

For example, to calculate the amount of rock required for the parking lot above:

(200 X 100 X .67) divided by 27 = 496 Cubic yards
496 X 1.3 = 644.8 Tons
